OVERVIEW

Join us and our bike ride leaders, Black Joyride and Streets Calling, for a relaxing morning full of pedals and petals in Washington Park! This year, we are hosting a community bike ride and a Bloom Party (like a block party but at our sunflower garden)!

The festivities will start at 9 AM with community bike rides through the South Side. Riders should gather with their bikes on the John Lewis Plaza at the Obama Presidential Center, from which both riding groups will depart. There will be rides of different lengths, so riders can choose the intensity they prefer. All rides will end at the Bloom Party. Starting at 10:30 AM, Emerald South will be hosting a Bloom Party at 5345 S Prairie Ave! If you can’t make a ride or simply prefer to enjoy a fun morning in the garden, join us for music, free food, activities, and a special opportunity to rep the South Side! More coming on that soon! Come out and learn more about E-Tegami while relaxing in nature! Riders will join the parties as soon as they finish their routes, and the event will end at 1 pm.
