Charise Williams works as the Director of External Affairs for the Chicago Federation of Labor. In her role she is responsible for stewarding the CFL brand, building civic engagement, conceptualizing, developing, and facilitating projects related to the commitment of the CFL and the communities it serves.

Prior to her current role, Charise worked as the Deputy Chief of Staff for Civic Engagement, for the Illinois State Treasurer’s Office, tasked with developing a network of external and internal partnerships, allies, and community leaders across the state.

She has a master’s degree from the University of Chicago Harris School of Public Policy.
