Emerald South Releases RFP for 63rd St Mural Artist

The Emerald South Economic Development Collaborative is excited to commission an artist to design and install a mural on the 63rd Street train viaduct between Blackstone and Dorchester Avenues! 

The mural will celebrate the Woodlawn neighborhood, welcoming visitors from across the world and highlighting the new opportunities emerging alongside the Obama Presidential Center’s opening.

Chicago-based artists, designers, and fabricators, especially those whose backgrounds include ties to the area surrounding the mural’s location, are encouraged to submit proposals.
